Skybuck's Test CUDA Memory Benchmark Performance, ReadMeFirst version 0.01 created on 12 february 2015 Before running CUDA Kernels/Applications which take a long time to run it's a good idea to turn off the "watchdog" in Windows. If the watchdog is not turned off then the graphics driver will be reset if the CUDA Kernel/Applications takes longer than 2 seconds to run ! To disable the watchdog, click the start button of windows and type RegEdit into the white box. Then navigate towards the following registry key: KeyPath : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers KeyValue : TdrLevel ValueType : REG_DWORD ValueData : TdrLevelOff (0) - Detection disabled TdrLevelBugcheck (1) - Bug check on detected timeout, for example, no recovery. TdrLevelRecoverVGA (2) - Recover to VGA (not implemented). TdrLevelRecover (3) - Recover on timeout. This is the default value. The default value is 3, change this value to 0.
